Emerging Markets Development Survey measures most used databases

The Emerging Markets Development Survey is a comprehensive research series on developers and IT managers in the regions of China, India, Brazil, Eastern Europe, and Russia. This survey covers topics such as platform use, database development, wireless development, and others.

According to the new survey, Microsoft SQL Server leads as the most used database in these emerging markets with over 50% of developers using it. MySQL, on the other hand, is close behind claiming a 46% usage rate.
