Encryption Wizard 6.2 Released by RDC

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

The new version 6.2 of the Encryption Wizard for Oracle has been released from Relational Database Consultants Inc. (RDC). The Encryption Wizard has intelligent re-key features to offer more security against data theft and it's transparent database encryption software suite communicates with Oracle RDBMS. The re-key can be performed though the Encryption Wizard GUI or by using a scheduler.

David Singer, RDC lead developer, said, "We implement re-keying with automated recovery features in case of a database failure. Re-keying can take time for large amounts of data and without intelligent recovery data loss can occur. With re-keying implemented the Encryption Wizard will enable security managers and CSO's to bring their sensitive Oracle data to compliance without the high costs usually associated with such efforts."
