Aster Data Named “Company to Watch”

TechWeb’s Intelligent Enterprise 2010 Editors’ Choice Awards has named Aster Data, a provider of data management and processing platform for big data and analytics-intensive applications, as the “Company to Watch” in the Information Management category. “Aster Data is focused on enabling organizations to more easily harness the power of big data” said Tasso Argyros, CTO and co-founder, Aster Data, and has made advanced analytics on big data possible with a massively parallel data-application server; integrating MapReduce with SQL for advanced analytics and enabling the quick analysis of terabytes and petabytes of data.
