Database Management Company Ingres Partners with Contemporary Software Concepts

Opensource database management company Ingres Corporation’s partnership with Contemporary Software Concepts (CSC) will, as part of the agreement, jointly market the Ingres database and CSC’s application and data integration and professional IT consulting services to both the manufacturing and public sector.

About the partnership, Sandra L. Gromball, president, CSC of NJ said that

“With this agreement, we are formally acknowledging the work we have done for over a decade that stems from our partnership with Ingres,” and “More importantly, we can continue to provide access to a cost-effective, open source solution that allows our clients to reap the benefits of an enterprise-scale solution with mission-critical reliability. Previously, this type of functionality was only accessible to large firms who were willing to absorb the high cost and high risk of other proprietary solutions. This is a big advantage for us and a gigantic opportunity for the organizations we work with.”
