Gartner has named dbaDIRECT a “cool vendor” for 2010; stating dbaDIRECT “offers technologies or solutions that are innovative, impactful, and intriguing”. dbaDIRECT’s ONguard Remote DBA Management System was a key influencer in Gartner’s decision.

John Bostick, CEO and founder of dbaDIRCT stated that “we have worked for over a decade to truly change the way database administration services are delivered. I have seen this model go from revolutionary, in 1999, to a best practice today. We have re-invented ourselves several times to continue to push our approach forward, and each time we have been able to add a new innovation that has pioneered the market. Our customers rely on us to take care of their most critical data assets, and we take this responsibility very seriously.”
