Oracle’s Exadata Database is Under Evaluation for SAP

While there has been some mudslinging between Oracle and SAP the two have agreed to at least work out the details of getting SAP certified on Oracle’s Exadata database. If all goes well the certification will happen early next year but Oracle is actively seeking early adopters.

So regardless of the riff between the two companies “cooperation in the trenches is quite sincere,” said analyst Curt Monash of Monash Research. “These large companies assign individuals to cooperate and it really is their job.”
