At the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2010 conference, judges reviewed and then chose finalists for the Penton Media’s Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine Best of Tech-Ed 2010 awards. Sixteen awards were given in all, with two specifically for databases. The Best of Tech-Ed 2010 for Database Administration went to Idera and its Idera SQL Toolbox 1.0, while the award for Database Development went to Quest Software and its Toad for SQL Server 4.6.
The Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine August editions will also be featuring the winners of the Best of Tech-Ed competition.
