At its annual conference C-Drive, Compellent took a survey to see what kind of storage needs its customers faced. Over 180 customers responded, with more than a third telling Compellent that structured data like databases and customer applications presented their biggest growth challenge, though many said unstructured data grew more.

Says Compellent, “The results of C-Drive polling reinforce the trends we’re seeing in the storage industry at-large, validating the need for a more flexible environment where companies can easily manage the growth of structured and unstructured data… Compellent will continue to focus on architecting a single scalable solution that elegantly meets diverse storage needs.”
