Jitterbit Enterprise Cloud Edition, a cloud based data integration service running on Amazon EC2, is now being offered by Jitterbit. Jitterbit’s cloud solution has 250 connectors for databases and applications, supports data connections over VPN, and is unique in that, instead of charging per connection, it uses a $799 per month subscription license fee. Jitterbit says this “can help contain cloud integration costs,” and also that its new data integration solution “will appeal to smaller enterprises that are less concerned about on-premise solutions and more likely to embrace the cloud, rather than the Fortune 100-level enterprises.”
