Oracle Database to Hadoop Connection Being Set Up

Open-source tool Hadoop is going to be connected with Oracle as Cloudera and Quest Software partner up. The connector, “Ora-Oop,” that Cloudera and Quest are working on will offer bidirectional, scalable, and functional data transfer between Oracle databases and Hadoop’s custom analyses and transformation of large data sets, as well as compliment another open-source tool, Sqoop, that imports relational database data into Hadoop.
