Still Time for Sybase to be Picked Up by SAP

Due to certain unmet conditions, the expiration date of Sheffield Acquisition
Corp.’s cash tender offer for all outstanding shares of Sybase, Inc. common
stock has been moved back to 9:00 p.m. New York City time on July 16, 2010.
Sheffield is an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of SAP, and is offering
$65.00 for each share of Sybase common stock.
