SystemObjects has deployed Business4Mobile, a development tool for the IBM I platform; allowing for the creation of applications that run on smart mobile devices and access System I, among others, database servers. Business4Mobile can execute, from a predefined set of queries from a database, queries and produce a result set in a sortable grid. Results are delivered through a Web browser on the smarthone and the suite is composed of two components: a Windows-based administration module and a PHP server component that installs next to the Apache Web server and an administration module that includes a graphical query builder.
