Miro Consulting, Inc. Forms New Oracle Database Security Practice

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

The Oracle database security practice formed by Miro Consulting, Inc. will focus on enhancing data security and compliance. Heading up the initiative will be Sam Alapati, Ph.D.. Mr Alapati is a best selling author of 8 Oracle DBA books, including several Oracle Certification guides, and is considered a renowned expert on Oracle database technology.

“With various industries compliance regulations – such as SOX, PCIA and HIPAA – database security is of the utmost importance to the enterprise no matter the market segment,” said Scott D. Rosenberg, CEO and founder, Miro Consulting. “Sam’s two decade-plus Oracle database expertise is a natural fit for seeking out database security vulnerabilities. Similar to our licensing and audit mediation process, there will be a vulnerability assessment, followed by a strategic plan with robust options for each specific issue.”
