A new release of SQL diagnostic manager has been announced by Idera. SQL diagnostic manager 6.2 uses wait statistic analysis to enable SQL Server DBAs to discover what is causing bottlenecks and who has to wait the longest for bottlenecked resources.

“Users often see performance problems in their SQL Server environment that are difficult to identify and resolve,” said Rick Pleczko, President and CEO of Idera. “Adding wait stat analysis to SQL diagnostic manager’s already powerful array of performance monitoring analytics provides SQL Server DBAs with yet another powerful tool to help them quickly remediate performance problems.”
