Users of the Apache CouchDB database need not worry about data loss anymore. CouchDB version 1.0.1 is now available; it fixes the bug that caused data loss in version 1.0.0’s default configuration, as well as some replication bugs, plus also including new support for replication through HTTP/HTTP proxy servers and the ability to audit deletes. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible, and a repair is available for users who lost data.
