The Teradata OLAP Connector from Teradata Corporation now connects with Microsoft Excel PivotTable. This provides access to real-time data so that users do not have to base their reports or analysis on stale data which may not give an accurate picture of the business’ operations.

“The extraction and storage of data in Excel Workbooks have many hidden costs, because it creates data inconsistencies between users and report auditability. The Teradata OLAP Connector allows business users to continue using their familiar tool – Excel, and to maximize their decision making by leveraging the unmatched performance, scalability and manageability of the Teradata database,” said Randy Lea, vice president, products and services, Teradata Corporation.
