By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

DBRecovery 2010, the new version of OfficeRecovery’s database repair suite, is now available for purchase or free demo. In order to rebuild a damaged database, DBRecovery extracts data from the corrupted database files then saves it into a set of SQL scripts to use in the rebuilding process. Updates to DBRecovery 2010 include compatibility with Windows 7; improvements to its modules such as new data browsing capabilities which visualizes database structure, has selective item recovery, previews tables and more; as well as having added SQL Anywhere to its list of supported databases which also includes:

  • Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Works
  • DBF (Visual FoxPro)
  • FileMaker
  • Interbase
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • Paradox
  • PostgreSQL
  • Sybase
  • SQL Anywhere
