Updated Database Repair Suite, DBRecovery, Adds New Database to its Support List among Other Enhancements

DBRecovery 2010, the new version of OfficeRecovery’s database repair suite, is now available for purchase or free demo. In order to rebuild a damaged database, DBRecovery extracts data from the corrupted database files then saves it into a set of SQL scripts to use in the rebuilding process. Updates to DBRecovery 2010 include compatibility with Windows 7; improvements to its modules such as new data browsing capabilities which visualizes database structure, has selective item recovery, previews tables and more; as well as having added SQL Anywhere to its list of supported databases which also includes:

  • Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Works
  • DBF (Visual FoxPro)
  • FileMaker
  • Interbase
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • Paradox
  • PostgreSQL
  • Sybase
  • SQL Anywhere
