Layer2 has announced that its Business Data List Connector, a SharePoint Add-On, integrates SQL databases, and other LOB systems, with SharePoint Knowledge Management and Social Networking features. The add-on directly connects SharePoint lists to the external data in supported databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, and Informix; also allowing automatic updates to lists from background data, write-back of modifications, automatic background categorization, and more.
