BEZVision is Being Extended to Gather Database Performance Statistics in the Cloud

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

BEZVision is being extended to gather database performance statistics in the cloud and we should see some product releases by the end of 2010 according to BEZ. According to Dan Haley, BEZ president and CEO, “For a while now, we’ve been seeing our customers and others moving more of their infrastructure to cloud based platforms, but the moving part is easy. Although they may no longer need to do periodic capacity planning, they still need to manage day-to-day capacity to ensure they’re really getting the service they’re paying for and required service levels are being met. That’s why we’ve decided to include advanced support for cloud based platforms in upcoming releases of BEZVision.”
