Industry Analysts and Third Party Benchmarks Rank Oracle First in Application Server Market

The current Gartner worldwide application server market share report notes that Oracle has a 42% market share; putting Oracle number one in this market and holding more market share than its three closest competitors. Additionally the Oracle WebLogic Server 11g has achieved the highest performance ever running a clustered database.

“Oracle WebLogic Server is the industry standard, the highest in terms of high availability and it’s the most performant application server on the market,” said Rain Fletcher, vice president of applications development and architecture for Choice Hotels International.
