Updates for PostgreSQL are Released and 8.1 reaches end-of-life

The PostgreSQL Global Development Group has released updates for the active branches of PostgreSQL that includes 9.0.2, 8.4.6, 8.3.13, 8.2.19, & 8.1.23. within the release are 79 patches for 9.0, 38 patches for 8.4, 31 patches for 8.3, 25 patches for 8.2 and 21 patches for 8.1. DBAs are encouraged to update their PostgreSQL database systems; especially if using version 9.0, point-in-time recovery, or warm standby. Also to note that version 8.1 is now end-of-life.
