Teradata Metadata Management and Transformation from Teradata Corporation; helping to speed the distribution of content across platforms for studio and content owners. The solution uses master data management to drive title metadata and automate metadata output; allowing for the achievement of operational efficiencies and increased speed to market.

“Teradata Metadata Management and Transformation meets a pressing need in the marketplace. A typical studio creates more than 20 new feature-length titles per year, and several TV series, not to mention the high volumes of derivatives demanded by new digital and mobile channels,” said Sanjay Sood, associate professor of marketing and faculty director, Center for Management of Enterprises in Media, Entertainment and Sports, University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management. “For each of those assets, they are required to create, manage and deliver title metadata that is formatted to each distribution partner’s specifications. This is typically a highly manual, error-prone process that is very labor-intensive and costly.”
