CipherOptics Outlines Strategy for Supporting Cloud Connectivity and Data Security Plan

CipherOptics outlines strategy for supporting cloud connectivity and data security plan; helping customers migrate to public cloud infrastructures. Part of the plans include securing LAN extensions from the data center to public and private cloud infrastructures that will be based on their CipherEngine, a Group Encryption solution, and multi-layer encryption appliances. Also unveiled are plans to secure connectivity to the cloud with a virtual appliance to secure data in virtual machines in the cloud as well as securing LAN extension to applications, databases, and services in the data center. In addition to new plans, CipherOptics will be rebranding and have announce their new name of Certes Networks; reflecting their commitment in providing high levels of data security while maintaining network and application performance.
