By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

New release for Cloud Data Security from Gazzang has been released; adding public and private key encryption and hardware security module integration as new features. These new features will help improve the protection of sensitive data in the cloud or within an organization’s firewall; helping fulfill strict compliance requirements. Gazzang’s ezNcrypt is an encryption solution for MySQL database transactions and data that can be deployed without making changes to existing applications or databases; providing OpenSSL engine support, public/private key encryption, HSM integration, and rightscale MySQL EBS support.
