SecureSphere 8.5 Extends Protection from Insider Threat with Improved SecureSphere Agent Technology

SecureSphere 8.5 has extended the protection from insider threats by enhancing their SecureSphere Agent Technology for file and database activity throughout the IT infrastructure. The extension combines network monitoring and local monitoring with agents to provide support for platforms that include Windows file servers and mainframe databases. Windows File Server agents are a deployment option that can be used along with Secure Sphere File Security appliances to optimize deployments based on network topology and business needs; providing capabilities such as privileged user monitoring and separation of duties, visibility into user identiies, and efficient auditing of distriburted file servers. Additionally, SecureSphere has a agent-based monitoring and auditing for DB2 z/OS mainframe databases; delivering comprehensive and efficient solutions for auditing database activities and addressing regulatory requirements.
