Hadoop and Hive with Cassandra are Bundled Together by DataStax

DataStax has released a software distribution called Brisk that links Hadoop and Hive with the highly scalable column-based NoSQL database Apache Cassandra. Currently, the initial Brisk version contains Hadoop 0.20.2, Hive 0.7 and Cassandra 0.7.4. Brisk will also be available under the Apache open source license sometime in the next 45 days.
