SQL Server 6.5 Replication

By Kevin Goodwyn

This SQL Replication Application demonstrates how to duplicate table schemas and data from the Pubs Database on ServerP to the Pubs Database on ServerS. ServerP is the Publisher and ServerS is the Subscriber. The Authors and Employee tables will be replicated. These tables will be set up as Publication/Articles. Additional tables can be added or existing tables may be removed.

ServerP and ServerS are running Windows NT 4.0 (SP3) with SQL Server 6.5 (SP5A).

To become familiar with the replication terminology refer to Microsoft's Books Online Document titled ‘Replication Terminology’. Before you set up Replication refer to Microsoft's Books Online Document titled ‘Before Setting Up Replication’.
