Take a look at how to use and integrate various Office components with the Business Intelligence features of SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services in this week's Technet Webcast session from Microsoft. Excel will be used to access an OLAP cube and then define and display the data with Pivot tables.
Office Web components and the Office Web component toolkit will also be used to show how to manipulate data and views from a web browser as well as to show how data can be extracted from the Web and pulled back into Excel. The session will cover basic SQL Server Analysis Services and simple views, looking at how the data analyzer can be used to show relationships in data elements.
