The Access Workbench is a program that will help you manage your Access databases. The Workbench will allow you to see the users/computers using your database, lock out new users so that you can do maintenance, and view who is in your workgroup files and your LDB files.
For developers and administrators, the software supports password-protected databases and allows you to test the security in your databases. For those multi-version developers, the software will open the correct version of Access.
The latest version of the Workbench, v1.3.4, makes managing multiple workgroup files easier and allows you to view users in secure databases. The new release also avoids storing workgroup passwords in shortcut files by saving passwords in encrypted format.
The Workbench costs $34.95 per license.
