Zapatec provides a web application framework to get online database applications up and running in hours rather than days. Zapatec recently released version 0.83 of its web-based tools and platform so you can create database-powered web applications -- including forms, reports and menus -- with minimal programming knowledge.
The Zapatec Platform incorporates the following technologies:
- PostgreSQL database for data storage
- Apache Tomcat web server and servlet engine for web page display
- XML for form and report definition
- XSL tranformation for data display
