Newest Version of Syncsort's Backup Express Extends Support for Exchange, SQL Server and Novell NetWare 6

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The latest release of Backup Express, the enterprise-wide backup and restore solution for multiple platforms and heterogeneous networks from Syncsort Incorporated, provides a number of important new functionalities and advances.

Version 2.1.5c enhancements include support for active-active clusters for Exchange and SQL Server, improved installation procedure for Windows clusters and NetWare 6 clusters, the addition of device auto configuration wizards, a new SharePoint Portal Server interface, the creation of a Bexbrick Utility for setting up a MS Exchange interface and several enhanced support features for Novell NetWare. Other enhancements take full advantage of the capabilities of various supported platforms and simplify implementation.
