[From BakBone Software]

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - June 11, 2003 - BakBone Software, a global provider of storage management software, announced today the release of a new NetVault Application Plugin Module (APM) for PostgreSQL databases. The new PostgreSQL APM allows IT Administrators to schedule backups of either the entire database or individual tables within the database while the database is online and active.

"The new PostgreSQL APM is a full-featured solution that provides customers complete live data protection, securing their most important asset," said Kerri Taylor, APM Product Manager at BakBone. "The release of the PostgreSQL APM represents BakBone's ongoing commitment to provide application specific support to the Linux community. NetVault offers hot application backup for more applications running on Linux than any other storage management software manufacturer."
