Informatica Introduces Guaranteed Data to Dashboard Business Intelligence Challenge

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From Informatica Corp.]

Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ:INFA), the leading provider of business analytics software, today announced its "Data to Dashboard" challenge, designed to demonstrate the rapid deployment, unique usability and next-generation business intelligence (BI) functionality of the Informatica PowerAnalyzer business intelligence platform. Accepting this challenge will help qualified companies to leverage the powerful analytics and reporting capabilities of PowerAnalyzer with their existing enterprise data in an unprecedented one hour's time.

Introduced in October 2002, PowerAnalyzer has changed the business intelligence landscape by providing a full range of BI functionality in a single-server, 100 percent Internet-centric solution. Real-time dashboards, ad-hoc querying, enterprise reporting, broadcasting and real-time alerting all exist in one unified platform.

Following a one-hour, ten-step process managed by Informatica at prospective customers' sites, qualified companies can familiarize themselves with PowerAnalyzer's capabilities and its completely Web-based interface using their own enterprise data. Organizations undertaking the challenge can then test-drive PowerAnalyzer with support from Informatica for 30 days.
