IronGrid Unveils IronTrack SQL

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From IronGrid, Inc.]

With Single-User and Server Editions, Java Developers Now Can Troubleshoot and Track Database Performance Over Time

AUSTIN, TX - July 21, 2003 - IronGrid, Inc., which provides tools that help Java developers improve software performance, today unveiled IronTrack SQL. An intuitive, easy-to-install tool that allows developers to establish an application's JDBC performance history over time, IronTrack SQL generates useful data comparisons over time that can pinpoint the cause of SQL performance delays.

The first product in IronGrid's new IronTrack product line, IronTrack SQL further extends the functionality of the company's IronEye product family, which allows developers to easily install tools that provide fast, efficient data analysis of performance metrics and to embed performance monitoring and problem detection into the build process. IronTrack SQL combines all the monitoring and testing features of IronEye SQL with the ability to compare and visualize an application's database usage and performance over time. As a result, programmers can better determine which code changes are responsible for the application's performance problems.
