MySQL Ships as Standard Database with Novell's New NetWare 6.5

BRAINSHARE EUROPE, Barcelona - September 8, 2003 - MySQL AB, developer of the world's most popular open source database, today announced that a commercially-licensed version of the MySQL. database ships with Novell NetWare 6.5, the latest version of Novell's platform for advanced network services. NetWare 6.5 comes with a commercially-licensed version of MySQL 4.0, giving NetWare users the benefit of developing and distributing high performance, low-cost MySQL database applications without open source license requirements. MySQL AB CEO Marten Mickos will be speaking about the MySQL database at the EMEA Partner Summit at Novell's BrainShare Europe on September 9.
