SQL Tools for database auditing released

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From LockwoodTech software]

LockwoodTech software today released Log Navigator 1.0. This sql server auditing tool reads the MS SQL Server transaction log to track all data changes with no performance overhead or use of triggers. You can read database auditing trails from activity that took place even before the tool was installed. Filters allow you to sort audit data by date, user, table and more.

New in this update is live log support, and XML and database export. Other features include filtering, grouping and sorting of log data, viewing field level data for each row in insert, update and delete and viewing history of changes of a row to name a few.
