Yukon Focus: Bulked Up ETL, Security

There will be a lot more to Yukon than support for Microsoft's Common Language Runtime.

The next-generation SQL Server promises "dramatically" improved data transformation services (DTS) and new data-mirroring capabilities, said Gordon Mangione, Microsoft vice president of SQL Server.

The goal with the Yukon version of DTS is to offer enterprise-grade extraction transform and load (ETL) capabilities.
