SAP and Sybase Form Global Agreement to Deliver Integrated Solutions for SAP� Business One

WALLDORF, Germany and DUBLIN, Calif. - Nov. 17, 2003 - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) and Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY) today announced a worldwide agreement to deliver integrated solutions by aligning SAP® Business One with Sybase data management solutions for small and midsize businesses (SMBs). The agreement combines the strengths of SAP Business One, SAP's new solution for companies with as few as five to as many as several hundred employees, with Sybase's industrial-strength relational database management system, Adaptive Server® Enterprise (ASE).

Additionally, SAP and Sybase will embark to develop and market Sybase mobile solutions for SAP Business One customers. SAP Business One customers and partners around the globe will benefit from the alliance's effective, affordable SMB solutions that will be tailored specifically to the needs of a range of vertical industries and geographic markets.
