ODBC Driver For Microsoft SQL Server

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From Actual Technologies, LLC]

The Actual SQL Server ODBC Driver lets you access your company's Microsoft SQL Server database from within Microsoft Excel or FileMaker Pro. You can connect to any database you are authorized to use, and work with the data just like your Windows-using co-workers. The driver also connects to Sybase databases.

This release includes the following new features:

  • Improved conversion between MacRoman and ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1) character sets
  • Additional help text while configuring data sources
  • Several minor bug fixes

A downloadable version is available from the website. The download performs a complete installation of the driver. It requires Mac OS 10.2 or later. It is recommended that all users of v1.0 or v1.1 upgrade to this new release.
