xSql Software announces the availability of xSQL Object version 1.5

By Linda Cole

xSql Software announces the availability of xSQL Object version 1.5. xSQL Object is a SQL Server database utility that enables administrators and developers to generate scripts and compare and synchronize SQL Server objects.

The new version supports the following:

  • Full-text indexes and full-text catalogs
  • Scripting of Users's login,
  • User's Membership to Database Role
  • User's login Membership9 to SQL Server fixed roles

The product sports a new display interface for comparison scripts, using colors to identify the differences. Object scripts are organized into sections that allow expand/collapse. Each section has headers that show whether the section is the same or different for each pair of objects. Also included in this release is the ability to exclude comments, both multi-line and single-line, from Views, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions and Triggers.

Version 1.5 requires SQL Server 2000 and .NET Framework 1.1 and higher. Pricing starts at $199. A trial version is available for download at xSQL Software's website.
