MySQL Users Conference Call for Participation

MySQL AB and O'Reilly Media, Inc. announce the opening of a call for participants for the third annual MySQL Users Conference. The conference, whose theme is "MySQL Everywhere," is scheduled for April 18-21, 2005 and will be held at the Westin Santa Clara Hotel in Santa Clara, California.

The conference will feature leading industry keynote speakers, including Gnome co-founder Miguel de Icaza, in addition to MySQL co-founders Monty Widenius and David Axmark, CEO Marten Mickos, director of architecture Brian Aker, and community relations manager Arjen Lentz. The agenda will include such topics as the latest MySQL technology, including the new features in MySQL 5.0 and tutorials.

Interested parties who would like to speak at the conference are invited to submit a proposal. The deadline for proposals is November 1, 2004.

Registration for attendees and press will open in December 2004.
