CA and DMT Announce First Open Source Ingres Conference

Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA) and Database Management Technology (DMT) today announced The Ingres Conference, a four-day event where customers can learn how to take advantage of Ingres as an Open Source database platform.

The conference will feature keynote addresses from Ingres Corp. Founder Michael Stonebraker on the evolution of DBMS technology, and CA Senior Vice President of Development Tony Gaughan on the challenges and opportunities of managing open source technologies in today's IT environments.
