Oracle Applies Grid Technology to Storage

As previously reported, Oracle (Quote, Chart) has triggered a strategy to bring its grid computing technology to storage arrays.

The software maker introduced the Resilient Low-Cost Storage Initiative to pair its Database 10g with ATA (define) disk arrays from Apple , Dell (Quote, Chart), EMC (Quote, Chart), HP and Network Appliance (Quote, Chart).
