iSeries and SQL Server Integration

In this Webcast, learn about the different ways that you can integrate data on the iSeries with SQL Server. In the first part of this presentation, Michael Otey, senior technical editor for iSeries NEWS and president of TECA, Inc., will show how to setup an ODBC and OLE DB connection between the two systems to perform database to database transfers. Here you’ll see how to use DTS to transfer data between SQL Server 2000 and the iSeries. Next, Mike will show how SQL Server Integration Services in SQL Server 2005 can be used to transfer file between the iSeries and SQL Server 2005.
