Oracle discounts database pricing on new Sun servers

Oracle Corp yesterday announced a pricing promotion for the new eight-core UltraSPARC T1 server from Sun Microsystems Inc.

AdvertisementOracle customers with CPU-based licenses on Sun Fire T1000 and T200 would count cores as .23% of a processor, and charged according, Oracle said.
