Oracle Enhances Secure Development Lifecycle

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From Oracle Corp.]

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., 20-DEC-2005 Oracle today announced that it is integrating Fortify's source code and analysis tools into the company's comprehensive secure development lifecycle.

Implementing rigorous source code scanning procedures throughout a product's lifecycle helps to reduce security flaws, speed discovery of potential vulnerabilities and ultimately enables more secure software. Oracle(r) developers will use the integrated tools to scan many tens of millions of lines of Oracle code.
