Red Gate Unveils Industry's First Graphical Dependency Tracker

By DatabaseJournal.com Staff

[From Red Gate Software Ltd]

Red Gate Software announces the availability of SQL Dependency Tracker, a fully graphical and interactive tracker for SQL Server database dependencies.

Red Gate’s SQL Dependency Tracker aims to alleviate one of the most time consuming database chores: dependency tracking. It is not uncommon for developers to spend the better part of a day trying to determine if the changes they are about to send to production will adversely affect existing data. SQL Dependency Tracker allows you to view, analyze and accurately document all of the dependencies in your SQL Server databases. It does this graphically and in real time, providing the user with maximum visibility and flexibility in order to simplify the process of untangling dependencies.
