Oracle(R) Application Server Completes Common Criteria Security Evaluation

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., 14-AUG-2006 Oracle today announced Oracle(r) Application Server 10g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, has achieved Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) Evaluation Assurance Level 4+ (EAL4+), the industry's most rigorous security assessment for commercially available software. Successful completion of the evaluation meets the purchasing criteria of many public sector organizations and agencies and further extends Oracle's portfolio of formally evaluated and third party-certified products.
