Oracle today announced a record breaking TPC-H Three Terabyte (TB) benchmark for Oracle Database 10g Release 2(1), strengthening the company's leadership in data warehouse performance. Holding records in three of the largest scale benchmarks: TPC-H 300 Gigabyte(2), TPC-H One TB(3) and TPC-H Three TB, Oracle continues to prove the superior performance of its database.
Running on a Sun Fire E25K server with UltraSPARC IV+ processors and the Solaris 10 Operating System, Oracle Database 10g Release 2 achieved a record-breaking performance of 114,713.7 QphH@3000GB with a price-performance ratio of $36.68QphH@3000GB.
