EnterpriseDB Advanced Server 8.2 Now Available

EnterpriseDB announced today the availability of EnterpriseDB Advanced Server 8.2. EnterpriseDB Advanced Server is an enterprise-class relational database management system (RDBMS) that is based on PostgreSQL. The latest release offers significant upgrades in the areas of Oracle compatibility and migration from Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Sybase databases. In addition, EnterpriseDB Advanced Server 8.2 incorporates all of the many performance and feature upgrades of PostgreSQL 8.2. EnterpriseDB Advanced Server 8.2 can now run applications written for Oracle databases that rely on the Oracle Call Interface (OCI).
